How to Make a Romantic Collage

Creating a romantic collage is a way to show a loved one how cherished he is. Collages can be used in picture frames, scrapbooks and anniversary cards. The size of your collage will depend on the number of pictures you wish to use and your craft supplies. Whether you are making a simple 8-by-10 collage or a poster-sized collage, the romantic gesture will be cherished.

Step 1

Cut a piece of paper to the size you want your collage to be. For example, a collage that will be going in an 8-by-10 frame needs to be mounted on an 8-by-10 piece of paper.

Step 2

Assemble the pictures you want to use on the paper. Cut excess backgrounds out of pictures so the focus is only on the person or people intended for your romantic collage.

Step 3

Arrange heart stickers, pressed flowers and other romantic cutouts around the pictures. Enhance the photographs with the positions of the accessories.

Step 4

Glue down all the photographs, stickers and pressed flowers once you are satisfied with their arrangement on the paper.

Step 5

Write a special message in red on the front or back of the collage. This is an especially romantic gesture.

Tip

  • Leave space beside each picture to write a caption describing what was going on in the picture, where the romantic couple was at the time and the date.
