Go out and meet new people to open yourself up to the possibility of finding someone to date. Get involved in activities that interest you and you will meet people similar to yourself.
Stop talking to him and cut him out of your life. Many women make the mistake of remaining friends in hopes that he will one day turn to you for a relationship, but this is unlikely to happen if he's not interested in the start.
