Los Angeles receives millions of visitors every year to take in its beaches, star-studded neighborhoods, or to watch a sporting event involving famous local pro and college teams. While many of these visitors come with families or for a solo trip, the area hosts its fair share of couples looking for a romantic getaway. The city offers romantic attractions for couples such as hotels, day spas and wineries.

Beverly Hills Hotel

Visitors to Los Angeles and the city's residents have an option for a romantic getaway in the Beverly Hills Hotel. The hotel features luxurious rooms with in-room wood-burning fireplaces, private garden patios and balconies with a view of the region. The most high scale rooms at the hotel also include a private pool and an in-room grand piano. The hotel maintains an on-site spa with treatments such as couples massage, facials and body wraps as well as a pool, steam rooms and saunas. The hotel also offers a number of romantic dining options including in-room dining, Bar Nineteen 12, the pool-side The Cabana Café and The Polo Lounge, which includes live jazz during dinner.

Le Petite Retreat

Another romantic activity includes a visit to a day spa such as Le Petite Retreat. Although the spa features a variety of treatments such as facials, massages and waxing, the spa also offers a number of couples treatments including side-by-side massages, facials, foot baths and the romantic "Champagne Bath For Two." The spa provides men's and women's saunas, relaxation rooms with organic snacks and aromatic neck warmers and outdoors areas for those guests who wish to have their treatments outdoors. The spa opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays and opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. on Sundays. The spa is closed Mondays.

San Antonio Winery

The San Antonio Winery features activities and tours for a romantic afternoon. On-site, the winery's restaurant, Maddalena Restaurant, features Italian dishes, salads and appetizers. The winery also offers tours of its grounds and both a free wine tasting and an Artisan series wine tasting, which features samples of some of the winery's finest selections. Tours occur between noon and 2 p.m. on weekdays and between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekends. The winery's gift shop also features a wide variety of wines from across the globe. The restaurant opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. on Monday through Friday and opens at 9:30 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
